I have another lesson today.
1. It was a busy day but I almost managed to finish on time...
2. We talked about the stadium.
a.When I watch rugby, I watch from up in the stands.
b.When I watch rugby, I like to be close to the action.
3. a) Imagine, now driving a car and you feel thirsty, so you say to your friend sitting in the front seat, "If I go to the convenient store, I will buy Japanese tea."
b) Another imagination, your friend and you read the book of traveling, "If I ever winning a lottery,, I'll go to Hokkaido..."
The difference between a)if... and b)if I ever... is that, a) is the meaning of now (or near future), but b) is the situation of obscure, very long time.
4. "My work is a general dogsbody". "dogsbody" is less responsible for us. Jack of all trades is the same meaning, but there is a few responsibility.
